Elevation Living Walls is building a curated network of skilled trades, installers, plant people, and construction-minded collaborators who want to participate in high-quality living wall, vertical garden, and biophilic design projects.
This page was originally created for subcontractors who wanted to register with Elevation Living Walls. The idea is still valuable — but the opportunity is bigger than a simple subcontractor list.
Through Plant Hackers and the Elevation Trade Network, we are creating a pathway for reliable trades, installers, landscape professionals, plant enthusiasts, and construction-minded people to learn the living wall category, support premium projects, and grow into future opportunities.
The right people make the work better. We are looking for collaborators who value craftsmanship, communication, client care, and the long-term success of living systems.
Living wall projects require more than plant knowledge. They bring together framing, waterproofing awareness, irrigation, drainage, finish details, site logistics, clean execution, and respect for the client environment.
Becoming part of the Elevation Living Walls network means joining a group of professionals committed to creating spaces that blend nature, art, architecture, and construction discipline.
To protect the experience for our clients and our team, we look for subcontractors and collaborators who prioritize craftsmanship, communication, client satisfaction, and on-time delivery.
Some people may become subcontractors. Others may be better suited for Plant Hackers training, future installer opportunities, project support, or learning the business of living walls over time.
For licensed trades and crews who can support active Elevation projects with professionalism and reliability.
For people interested in learning living walls, plant systems, project workflows, and how this niche can grow into future opportunity.
For landscape professionals, plant people, and construction-minded entrepreneurs who want to understand the category more deeply.
Requirements may vary depending on the scope of work, licensing category, project type, and whether you are joining as a subcontractor, installer, assistant, or training candidate.
Active contractor’s license in your field of expertise when required, aligned with state and local regulations.
Proof of general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage when applicable. Minimum requirements may vary by project.
Bonding capacity when required, EIN, completed W-9, and other documentation needed for payment processing.
Completion of a brief orientation to understand Elevation standards, systems, communication expectations, and jobsite process.
Participants agree to protect project integrity and not use Elevation project details or client relationships for independent gain.
A commitment to excellence, sustainability, creativity, and the Elevation ethos of delivering remarkable spaces.
If you are interested in learning the living wall category, supporting Elevation projects, or exploring future installer opportunities, start with Plant Hackers. We’ll use that pathway to introduce the concept, qualify fit, and guide the right next step.
Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on projects where plant health, finish quality, client experience, and jobsite coordination all matter.
Experience with framing, irrigation, planting, finish work, logistics, or related trade skills.
Crews of 3–5 are often ideal for installations, though individuals may also fit future training pathways.
Responsive, clear, client-aware communication before, during, and after project work.
Ability to support a range of residential, commercial, hospitality, and specialty installation environments.
