Welcome. This page shares the complete story behind the living wall transformation we designed and installed for the Portola Hotel & Spa–a project that began with a common challenge: a living wall that wasn’t performing as intended.
In just four days, we carefully removed the failing system and rebuilt a custom 155 sq ft living wall using our proprietary approach—focused on plant health, root volume, and long-term vitality.
Today, the wall stands as a vibrant, thriving feature within one of California’s premier coastal hotels.
Open to the public, it has quickly become a place for guests to gather, experience, and capture a moment—proof of what’s possible when design and biology work together.
